Seventeen Acres, Glasgow
Graven designed the visual brand, logotype and mark, website and all marketing collateral for Seventeen Acres, an ambitious mixed use development in Glasgow’s Merchant City.
We carried out extensive research and public consultation on the development. The name Seventeen Acres is inspired by the unique history of the land where the new development is located.
Seventeen Acres in the Merchant City will be Glasgow’s premier student residence providing a range of high quality accommodation for individuals and families. Graven worked in collaboration with Stallan-Brand Architecture + Design, developing Seventeen Acres site on Glasgow’s original medieval High Street near its Cathedral and at the heart of the Merchant City.
Stallan-Brand’s proposal re-imagines the location with significantly improved urban connections to its surrounding context. An ambitious mixed use environment that reinforces the charter of the Merchant City with a large contemporary public space at its centre is planned.
