Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh
Graven collaborated with PagePark Architects on the extension of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery’s mezzanine ground level, inserting new elements into the existing building.
Graven designed front-of-house facilities including the reception area, café and retail space. The design is more functional than aspirational, but maintains the high visual standards and quality materials and finishes expected of a major national art gallery and tourist attraction.
