Money Zone, The Millennium Dome, London
Graven was appointed as design consultants to the Corporation of London in order to work with them to create their MoneyZone in the Millennium Dome.
The MoneyZone explained the complex workings of the City of London to the public. One method of communicating the idea of investment was to create a game that allowed visitors to make an investment, such as buying a home, which then entered Reuters live market prices, reinforcing the point that our personal choices and actions affect the worldwide money market.
In another part of the MoneyZone we worked with The Royal Mint to create a glass tunnel that contained £1million in £50 notes.
